Gear Review Bauer APX Hockey Stick
The APX is a fantastic stick. It has a great design and sweet graphics. With all of the options it has, you will be able to find the perfect model for you. If you fid the right flex, you will get hard shots and great snap. If you hit the puck right, it really flies off the stick. The different curves are designed for different types of players. I personally use the Stamkos curve. It looks like a D-man's curve, but i get great accuracy and lift with it. The different curves let you excel at your position. It's weight also won't hold you back. This is one of the lightest sticks i have ever felt. It is amazing. The stick has two different models, Griptac and no grip. I like the Griptac because it feels like you have a better hold on the stick. It is a little tough at first but once you wear it down a bit, it has an awesome feel to it. This stick is amazing and the technology can make you a better player, as long as you know what you're doing when you buy it. The flex, curve, lie, and grip will all determine how well this stick performs for you. These sticks are designed to be an extension of you, so you shouldn't have to get used to how it is. It should feel natural and right in your hands. If you are smart about it, this stick is fantastic. You just have to know what you're doing when you pick what pattern you want. This is a great stick and I would recommend it to anyone.

Gear Review Bauer 4-Roll Pro Series Gloves (2011 Model)
Bauer 4-rolls are some of the most popular gloves on the market today. And this is fora good reason. Their comfort and durability is unmatched. They are also some of the coolest looking gloves out there. I have had these gloves for close to a year now, and I could not be happier. The only work I've had to do on them is get a patch put on the palm of my right glove. Due to the knob on the stick, this part wears down quicker than the rest of the glove. It cost me $12 and has given me no problems. The comfort these gloves provide is amazing. They have great padding that keeps your hands dry and gives you more than enough protection. There are plastic inserts on the top of the gloves. This helps a lot when blocking pucks. The thumb also has a block which keeps it from bending backwards. This helps prevent quite a few broken fingers. These gloves are all around amazing. I have never had a pair of gloves perform as well as these. Bauer has also started producing them in new colors. With all of these options, you are sure to find one that matches your team's colors. These gloves are fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone. If you buy these gloves you will not be disappointed.

Gear Review Bauer Pro Series Shoulder Pads
I recently purchased a pair of Abuer Pro Series shoulder pads. They are very comfortable and well padded. I used to have a pair of X:40 shoulder pads in Sr small. The Pro Series are Sr mediums. The chest and back padding is much thicker and does a fantastic job of keeping you protected. There are also added pieces which do not come standard on the other models. There is an added bicep guard which hangs down from near the shoulder caps. These help to protect your arms if you are slashed. The new rib padding on the chest straps are also a awesome addition. These cover an area which usually has no protection. This is the main are where you get hit when being hooked. These shoulder pads offer the same quality you would expect from bauer, but with the added padding that the pros need to stay protected. These pads are fantastic and give you the best protection for your money.

Gear Review Bauer Supreme Total One Skates
The Total Ones are the best model in the Supreme line of skates. They are lightweight, durable, comfortable, and very cool looking. The full carbon boot, reflex tongue, and improved internal make this skate better than all of the other skates in the Supreme line. The carbon boot makes the skate stiff, yet it remains comfortable. The protection offered by the boor is rivaled by no other skate on the market. Blocking pucks is no problem. The design also eliminates unnecessary weight. They are very well balanced and help maximize the power out of each stride. The reflex tongue also maximizes power. There are differnt stiffness strips you can put into the tongue. There is medium, stiff, and super stiff. These work like a spring board, maximizing the power you get out of each stride. This allows you to skate harder and faster for longer. The new internals help to make sure you stay comfortable while you skate. The moisture wicking material helps to keep your foot dry. The padding is comfortable, but starts to tighten around the ankle after a while. This can be fixed easily by rebaking the skates. With all the technology put into these skates, it is impossible to not play better with them on your feet. Their looks and design make them very appealing, but their price tag makes them a tough sale. These skates are not designed for the casual player. These were built for the person who wants to take their game to the next level. If you do purchase these skates, you will be extremely impressed. They are worth the price tag as long as you use them to their full potential.

Gear Review Easton E700 Hockey Helmet
I purchased an E700 helmet a few months ago. Over all this helmet is amazing. It is durable, comfortable, and looks awesome. The colors it is currently offered in is white, black, and matte black(which looks really cool in contrast to the regular polished black). Many people worried about it's durability after the quality of the S19 helmet. Due to the higher quality external shell and newly designed internals, this helmet is much better. I personally broke 2 S19 helmets without getting hit all that hard. The new internals on the E700 make these problems obsolete. The new padding is much more comfortable and is also secured with velcro instead the sticky material used in the S19. The velcro does not pull your hair or get stuck to your head, which makes it way more comfortable. The snap back style securing strip on the back of the S19 was replaced by the elastic band used in Giro bike helmets. All of these features helped make this helmet even lighter than the S19. The light weight, durability, comfort, and looks of this helmet makes it a steal for $149.
